H.E.L.P.
Hope, Equality, Learning, Potential

The H.E.L.P. program offers thematic small-group events led by culturally humble, experienced pediatric therapists to support at-risk children and those with developmental delays or disorders (e.g, speech-language, sensory integration, Autism, Down Syndrome, and more), through engaging activities like pretend play and cooperative games.

Particpants build play skills, receptive and expressive language, socialization, fine/gross motor abilities, and executive function in an inclusive environment that fosters turn taking, sharing, and emotional regulation. Sessions also work on strategies to help children transition smoothly between activities, manage impulsivity, and identify and express their emotions. Meanwhile, parent education workshops equips caregivers with tools and resources that empower both children and their families to thrive.

Thank you to our community partners 100 Women Who Care Southshore and The Schultz Foundation for funding H.EL.P. groups, allowing them to be free for all families who want to participate.
